The oldest dive club in the US and possibly the world is "dedicated to raising the level of
knowledge of the underwater world." Membership is limited, and all members have significant
involvement in planning and running the Boston Sea Rovers Clinic. They support a number of
charitable causes, the primary being the Frank Scalli Summer Internship.

Since 1955 the South Shore Neptunes have been involved with almost every aspect of diving from
legislation and the monitoring of local laws to instruction,travel, dive gear, dive shows, search and recovery and much more. Our membership includes the entire range of experience from new divers to instructors and commercial divers.
